The 20-year era of the Peterbilt 379 is officially over.
The last of 1,000 specially equipped 379 Legacy Editions was driven off the assembly line in Denton, TX, recently by new owners Kevin and Laurie Hegenow, according to a press release from the company.
The 379 model is being replaced by the 389, which features an all-new aluminum hood, redesigned headlights and some aerodynamic features its predecessor didn’t have.
